MR Soundhole Cutaway Classic Rich in Sound, Rich in History, Rich in Beauty
The history of Rodriguez guitars is as rich as the wood they are crafted from. Manuel Rodriguez, the grandson of flamenco guitarist Manuel Rodriguez Marequi and son of classical luthier Manuel Rodriguez Perez, learned the art of constructing a guitar firsthand. His apprenticeship began at the age of 13 in Madrid, and after operating in his own shop in Spain, Manuel emigrated to Los Angeles in 1959 and opened a business there. Manuel resided in Los Angeles for nearly 15 years, making guitars for professionals, Hollywood actors, teachers, and students before moving back to Madrid in 1973.
Using only the finest woods, and hand-forming each to precise tolerances, Manuel Rodriguez developed distinctive guitars fit for the worlds preeminent artists. Each instrument is as unique and individual as the musician who plays it.

£790.00
Manuel Rodriguez D1- CAFE Using years of experience in handcrafting guitars with the finest woods available, Manuel Rodriguez & Sons are branching out in design and style. This guitar, the Model D Cafe Con Leche Guitar (Coffee & Milk) is no exception. Personally I think this is genius, the soundboard is split down the middle, Solid Spruce on the bass side / Solid Cedar on the treble. Why? Well, it makes perfect sense, the Spruce naturally keeps the lows tight and focused whilst the Cedar brings clarity and definition to the highs! The best of both worlds. Here are some specs for your perusal, Half Solid Red Cedar, Half Spruce top, Laminated Indian Rosewood back & sides, Ebony fingerboard, Indian Rosewood bridge, Reinforced Sapele neck, Bone nut & saddle, Gold Plated (standard) tuners.

Manuel Rodriguez MCR11BLK Believe us, this name carries a bit of weight when were talking about Spanish guitars, using years of experience in handcrafting guitars with the finest woods available, Manuel Rodriguez & Sons are branching out in design and style. This guitar, the MCR11BLK has taken the Model 11 Caballero Guitar design into new territories. All the classic refinements are there, Solid Cedar Top (chosen for its responsiveness to playing dynamics and warm tone), Bubinga Back & Sides (adds projection), bone nut & saddle and Indian Rosewood fingerboard. But, theres something a bit extra. The most obvious being, a cutaway for higher fret access, and a new heel design to accommodate hand position in the higher register. Plus theres the new LR Baggs Element Stage Pro preamp and pick-up with built in tuner, sounds so natural plugged in and no microphone feedback to worry about. And.....you may have noticed.... its black!!! Remember, these guitars are hand built and hand finished, someone has put their soul into it so if youre after a mass produced perfect clone then this may not be the right choice for you, but, on the other hand, if you want something that feels like its seen a few stages right out the box, then you could a whole lot worse!!!!
Here are some specs for your perusal, Style - Electro/acoustic Bubinga cutaway - Solid Red Cedar top, Black finish, Multi-Layer wood binding (front & back), Laminated Bubinga back & sides, Sapele neck, Indian Rosewood fingerboard, Indian Rosewood bridge, Bone nut & saddle, Gold Plated (standard) tuners, LR Baggs Element Stage Pro Electronics, colour- black.
